Indoor Planters

Most of us love plants around the home; the most natural of live home decor. With such a variety of colours and shapes, both to leaves and flowers, plants have the ability to fit in with your home decor whatever the colour scheme. While you have vases for cut and dried flowers, when it comes to growing live plants indoors, you do need a variety of indoor planters to provide their home.
Indoor planters take on the same sorts of shapes that you expect to find in the garden, but, unless you have a spacious home, they do need to be smaller. The advantage indoors, though, is that you do not have to worry about weathering, so you can have more variety in the materials used to make the planters.
The first picture, top left, shows a metal violet planter, in antique red. This circular shaped planter comes on top of an elegant stand, ornately made with all the curves you expect with interior metal or wrought iron. There is a shelf underneath where you can stand one or two small pots for extra dimension. It not only comes in red, but black, green and white also.
A sister indoor planter to the first is the foxglove planter, shown in the second picture, with a longer oval planter on top and with a similar shelf underneath.
One beautiful style that is suitable for indoor but not outdoor planters, is Italian ceramic.
