Traditional Cedar Wood Outdoor Planters, For a Natural Look and Long Lasting Home for Your Plants and Shrubs
If you prefer natural materials for your garden decor, including planters, then wood is an obvious and popular choice. After all, a garden is for plants, shrubs and trees, so wood fits in as naturally as could be.

This light color cedar is an attractive variation of the more common darker tones you will often find in gardens, and will please those who want to be a little different, or just prefer lighter woods.
Cedar is also a popular, and very effective, wood for trellises. Climbing plants can help to add a lot of interest to a garden, and even a small yard can accommodate those colorful climbers with a trellis. A real space saver can be to have a planter with trellis already included, such as the cedar planter in the middle picture. With this option, there is no wasted time fixing a trellis to a wall or elsewhere, so is a practical choice for those who love climbing plants but are looking for time saving devices too.
Even rectangular shaped planters can be made to look extra atttractive and unusual, as you can see with the design shown in the third picture. Long rectangular planters are especially useful if you are creating a patio garden, and want to border the patio with container plants. In this case, there is a range of sizes to choose from, giving you extra versatility in arranging your flower and plant display on the terrace, deck or patio.
